If you want to move beyond “point and shoot,” this book is for you. It explains, in plain easy-to-understand English, what a digital camera’s switches and settings do and how to use them, with tons of example pictures. This book is small and relatively short, but it quickly provides a good understanding of how to use your digital camera to take great photos, without going into so much depth that it overwhelms the beginner. Each section is only two pages long, and explains a different camera feature or photographic technique.

If you want to quickly and easily learn the basics of digital photography, without being overwhelmed with detail, then get this book.
